Fábio de Oliveira Lopes is a filmmaker and director based in Lisbon. He graduated in Film and TV Production from Humber College in Toronto, Canada, and since 2015 has been developing work in directing and cinematography, always focusing on storytelling and visual construction.

Throughout his career, he has collaborated on projects of varying scales — from small, close-knit teams to more demanding productions — adapting his cinematic language to each context. His work is distinguished by attention to detail, visual rhythm, and a constant pursuit of authenticity.

He has significant experience in directing music videos, where he combines aesthetics, emotion, and performance to create pieces that reinforce each artist’s identity. In the field of advertising, he works on short-form content with a focus on clarity, impact, and narrative intent.

He is currently preparing the release of the mini-documentary “Corda aos Sapatos”,a project that approaches real stories with sensitivity, closeness, and a human perspective — a natural evolution of the visual style he has been developing.

For Fábio, filming is about telling stories. Regardless of scale, every project is an opportunity to experiment, collaborate, and transform ideas into something that lasts beyond the screen.
